PG in Medicine/Residency
Postgraduates are taught in English and Russian according to the programs and curricula approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. We take into consideration peculiarities of public health services of the state trainees come from. The duration of the post graduate courses are 2-3 years.
The main objective of the postgraduate training is to allow the students of medical institutions to continue their education and general practitioners to improve their skills for further certification. The Medical faculties together with its teaching hospitals and other health organizations, will provide the necessary physical and human resources to create a scholarly environment appropriate for the training of medical graduates so that they acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes to become accomplished physicians and surgeons with the highest moral and ethical standards.
The individual form of training is based on qualification characteristics, professional and position requirements, principles of realized perspective and doctor’s pretensions. Detailed theoretical training is combined with learning practical skills, operative technique, and typical and complex operations.
To maintain its international role, the Medical Faculties intend by means of contractual arrangements with foreign countries, universities, and hospitals to train residents from other countries in their postgraduate training programs who will return to their home country upon completion of their training.

PostGraduate Education
The students wishing to continue their education at Post Graduate/Master's or PhD level can contact anytime around the year i.e. without awaiting major intake of September.
Embassies of Ukraine accept documents of PG/ Master's or PhD level students all the year, and grant visa to deserving students.
The students can continue their PG/ Master's or PhD level in all programs like Medicine, Engineering, Aviation, Economics, Management, Administration, Civil Engineering and many more programs available at Bachelor Level
The study is conducted mostly in Russian, Ukrainian or in English medium.

Transfer Students
Students with transfer credit who apply for Study in Ukraine must submit the following upon arrival as original:
These documents are submitted into Ministry of Education, Ukraine for Certification, to Calculate the Academic Difference, and the Credit hours. If Ministry of Education finds the previous qualification equal to Ukrainian syllabus and curricula, the student receives approval certificate to join desired year successfully, otherwise the candidate must follow to the recommendations set by Ministry of Education.
Applicants should scan their transcripts by email and must produce originals attested by Foreign Ministry of their country and legalized by Embassy of Ukraine. Universities in Ukraine accept qualified transfer students from other universities. Universities in Ukraine operate on semester system. Admission is based on student's overall academic record.
Some programmes are very competitive and the requirements for consideration will likely be higher.
